Renault Clio 2

The Renault Clio II (X65 project code) is an automobile of the French Renault brand launched in March 1998. This is the second generation of Clio.

It emits at least 110 g of CO2 per km and its Cx is 0.35.

It has had great success on the French market, being the best-selling car in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003, competing for first place with its main rival, the Peugeot 206.

It is one of the first cars to offer standard power steering, double airbag and tinted windows in all models, which was later copied by the competition. The ABS will come in February 1998.

Inauguration also front wings in "Noryl", deformable plastic memory shape.

Technically, it takes the improved front end of the Clio 1 itself derived from the Renault 9 and Renault 11. The rear axle is completely new, type "flexible axle H". A three-box version was released in 1999 under the name of Renault Clio Symbol and intended for certain markets.

It is produced until 2016 for some markets of South America (Mercosur) under the name Clio Mio, with a final restyling that mixes styles: Clio Campus / Clio 4 for outdoor and Clio 2 phase 1 restyled for the interior. It is also produced in Algeria under the name of Clio Campus with the same aesthetics as the European Campus but with the front of the Mercosur version and a single 1.2 16 V petrol engine.

    Minimum age: 20 years
    The permit must be presented when the contract is drawn up.
    Damage to the vehicle is not covered until the accident report has been produced within 24 hours of the accident.

    Personal effects are not covered.
